Who I Follow

Hello December. Excuse my language, but where the hell did you come from? It seems like only yesterday it was April. I can’t believe the countdown to 2012 has officially started. Sometimes, I feel like I have accomplished nothing this year; other times, I feel like I’ve accomplished so much. 

As it’s the first of the month, I weighed myself today. The results were… good compared to last week, eh overall. 

SW: 176
CW: 173.9
Difference: -2.1 lbs.
Total Weight Loss: -2.1 lbs

Now, let’s take a look at how I did sticking to my goals last month:

  • Run three days a week, following the c25k program (Weeks 1 - 5, baby!) Eh … about that. The bad news is no, I haven’t been running three times a week. The good news is instead of picking up where I left off (and falling off track on timing), I pick up where I need to be. 
  • Practice self-control and pacing when out at the bars (Let’s be real, I’m not going to cut out drinking, BUT I can cut out a little) At the beginning of the month, no; at the end of the month, yes!
  • Run timed mile Fail. I remember trying, but I don
  • Register for New Year’s Day 5k I legitamently tried yesterday, but I’m broke. Trying to get my dad to pay for it….
  • Do a work out video at least once a week Ha, oops. 
  • Consistently track food using Daily Plate Erm.. mostly.
  • Lose 6.1 lbs (I don’t wanna see the 170’s no mo!) Yeah, no. Granted, I did lose weight. Just a whopping 2.1 pounds. 
  • Do not, repeat DO NOT, drunk text any romantic interests (to keep what little dignity I have left) Um.. fail. Although, I figured my shit out the last part of the month and I am proud to say I fixed my embarrassing ways!

Weight as of Oct. 30 — 176 lbs.

Obviously, I did not stay on track. Luckily, I won’t be going home to ‘Zona for Christmas, so no overdosing on any yummy foods (pies, holiday goodies, etc). Another plus, my roomie is trying to get into shape/loose a couple pounds, so no treats around the house either!
