Last week, I tried one of Chobani’s newest flavors, Apple Cinnamon, for the first time. Though it was good, I couldn’t quite tell if I liked it or not. To be honest, I’m not much of a fan of apple pie.
While grocery shopping, I decided to give it another go (mainly because it was on sale). Then I fate walked in and I stumbled across this recipe. It’s amazing. Ok, well, maybe not amazing, but it’s definitely quite tasty. I do believe I prefer it more as a shake than as a yogurt.
Due to a lack of ingredients, I did deviate a little. Instead of almond milk, I used fat-free milk (with an added 1/8 tsp almond extract). I also did not use any of the gums, and rather than using 10 ice cubes, I used about 20.
Overall, I definitely think I’ll be making this again the next time I a) have a craving for pie or b) need a quick protein shake.
