Wait for it………… BOOM!
I’m officially back to my lowest weight, and it’s only going to continue to go down from here.
Vegas/Tucson/150’s, here I come!
Today is Wednesday, right? At this point, I’m so in a blur that I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a different day entirely. But for now, I’ll go with it’s a Wednesday.
In case you didn’t notice, I have been slightly AWOL this past week. Why? Well, because my bestie was in town! I knew that once she got here, I would be less inclined to run (true), eat healthy (true) and there would be buckets of alcohol (true for only Saturday).
Was it worth it? Definitely (especially since my WIW went better than expected)!
On that note …
Like I said, my bestie was in town. We had to do all the Chicago things, including all the Chicago food. So considering I drank bucket loads of beer on Saturday, ate pizza galore, spectacular Greek food, delicious burgers, hot Asian buns and more, I’m pretty damn proud that I only gained a pound.
Now, it’s back on the bandwagon. Despite the fact it’s a grey and rainy day here, I psyched myself up for a run and brought my garb with me to work. Chances are, it will still be raining when I get home, but whatevs, I deal with it!
As I like to say, I have certain size stigmas, also known as I won’t buy clothes unless I can buy them in certain sizes.
Case in point, the perfect New Year’s Eve dress that I found at H&M (I would totally post a pic, but it was no where to be found online). Being the optimistic person that I am, I tried it on in a size 10. It didn’t fit, at all. Well, it fit over my fat ass, but did not, I repeat DID NOT, come anywhere close to zipping up. So, rather than trying it on in a 12, I can’t get it, because the number 12 seems too big.
Last night, I finally got around to taking my measurements, and first thing this morning, I stepped on the scale.
Now that I actually know the numbers, I’ve been perusing the sizing charts of several stores. It’s embarrassing.
Wow, just wow. The more I look at this, I’m stunned that I even have clothes that still fit. My two go-to pair of jeans are sizes 11/12 and 12. My skirts are typically around a size 12 (Hell, the one I’m wearing today is a size 8, but I’m wearing it at my waist) My tank tops are all larges.
On a positive note, I went for a three mile run/walk last night in 41:00 at a 13:34 min/mile pace, AND I weighed in at 174 this morning, meaning I lost two pounds!
My goals this week:
Happy Monday everyone! What are your goals for the week?
